Santhosha Educational Society was formed with a team of men and women who were prompted by the Holy Spirit to provide first rate educational facilities in a homely atmosphere for the children whose parents have difficulties in keeping their children with them and educate them. Though the school gives priority in admission to the children of Christian workers, it also provides accommodation for others irrespective of their caste, creed or religion. The Society was registered in October 1981 and Santhosha Vidhyalaya was opened in June 1982. Prof. Ivan Balasingh was the founding Secretary of the Society and the first Correspondent of the school.
